Grand Salon de la Micro-Edition
The 4th Grand Salon of
micro-edition will take place on the 27th and 28th
of April in Lyon. Each year, various workshops are set up to present
the edition of screen printings, drawing books, comics, literature,
and others. A large multipurpose room will allow the public to try
making buffers, mimeograph printing or screen printing, drawing,
creating masks and costumes, write, burn, take pictures or even
design small machines to make sounds.
This year, you will see on the walls of
the Grand Salon an exhibition by Bruno Richard, a famous drawer who
will present his original prints and installation. There will also be
many foreign editions such as Le Petit Mignon or Berlin bookseller
that will bring a series their own collection. Independent Taiwanese
artists will present their comic books, illustrations or collection
of photos. Le Cris de L’encre, a Fanzinothèque in Lyon, will offer
a relaxing space where sofas and books of all kinds will be
available. The collection of Igor Hofbauer, a Serbian artist who
maily draws concert posters is invited to present his screen print
collection.
We will collaborate with restaurants
and provide vegetarian banquet free of charge throughout the weekend.
